As a survivor of past trauma, I understand how daunting beginning therapy can feel. Since graduating with my master’s degree in Creative Arts Therapies from Concordia University, I’ve come to appreciate how vital a compassionate, non-judgmental space can be when facing challenges like anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, dissociation, burnout, or simply feeling lost.

So often, when we experience difficulties, it becomes easy to judge, criticize, or moralize our pain in ways that stir up shame, discouragement, and a sense of stuckness. My intention is to hold a space where those patterns can be explored with compassion. Where we can honour your past while letting go of what no longer serves you. Whether these patterns are leaving you feeling stuck in your relationship, overly critical of yourself, or distant from what matters to you, accessing safety in the therapeutic process can be a powerful step toward regaining a sense of empowerment, control, and connection to self.

Whether I’m working with individuals, couples, or families, I value the unique cultural, personal, and contextual lenses that shape each person’s experience. I strive to practice from a place grounded in social justice and informed by queer, feminist, and multicultural perspectives, always keeping in mind the larger systems of oppression that impact mental health and safety. I work eclectically, collaborating with each person to understand their needs and discover personalized paths forward. I believe the most meaningful therapeutic work happens through collaboration, where your insights and my guidance come together to support your growth.

My approach draws from narrative therapy, emotionally focused therapy (EFT), somatic practices, internal family systems (IFS), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and psychodynamic modalities.

I also bring a unique lens to therapy through my background in art therapy. There is no pressure to use art in our work together, and no prior experience is needed. Art therapy is simply a somatic way to connect with your emotions, helping you understand and care for them with greater depth. It can open new pathways to insight and healing, often helping you move through feeling stuck more quickly, while deepening your connection with yourself.
