Build a fulfilling clinical career in a practice grounded in experiential, trauma-informed care.

Lotus Therapy & Counselling Centre is a trauma-focused counselling and psychotherapy practice serving the Lower Mainland and clients across British Columbia. As our practice continues to grow, we are currently welcoming applications from Registered Clinical Counsellors and other qualified psychotherapy providers who align with our experiential, trauma-informed, holistic, and evidence-based approach to care.

Our work is rooted in the belief that meaningful change happens not just through insight, but through felt experience, attunement, and nervous system regulation. We support clinicians with strong administrative systems, consistent referrals, and a collaborative clinical culture that allows depth-oriented work to unfold at a sustainable pace.

Who this is a great fit for

A clinician transitioning into private practice from agency or high-volume settings and seeking a practice that prioritizes experiential depth, clinical presence, and thoughtful pacing.

A newer therapist with formal training in experiential or trauma-focused modalities who is looking for a grounded, supportive environment to continue developing skills and build confidence while growing a steady caseload.

An experienced clinician working relationally, somatically, or attachment-focused who values in-the-moment therapeutic work, integrates emotional and nervous-system-based approaches, and is interested in long-term growth within a collaborative, ethically grounded clinic.

Lotus Therapy & Counselling Centre's Approach

Our clinical culture

We aim to create a workplace where clinicians can focus on their craft, stay aligned with their values, and build a sustainable career in private practice.

Our culture emphasizes:

  • Experiential, trauma-informed, and relational care
  • Thoughtful pacing and ethical clinical judgment
  • Collaboration, consultation, and shared learning
  • Ongoing professional development and reflective practice
  • Respect for boundaries—both clinical and personal
  • We believe that high-quality experiential work requires time, presence, and support, and we structure our clinic to reflect that.
