FAQ

Are the sessions with you covered by my insurance?

Employer benefit packages often cover clinical counselling services. Please check your benefits information for coverage for “RCC” (Registered Clinical Counsellor). If you do not have benefits and are paying for counselling out of pocket, you can submit your receipts during tax season under the Medical Expense Tax Credit.

Do you offer direct billing?

We do not offer direct billing to insurance providers, should you wish to claim your session fee with an extended health provider, you will receive a receipt upon payment with all the required information to do so. You are welcome to pay by credit card or e-transfer. Credit cards are saved to your profile on Jane (our booking and billing system) and will be charged after your session.

Do you offer sliding scale?

We have a limited number of spots for clients who are requiring more affordable or accessible therapy. These spots are currently filled. We encourage clients requiring accessible therapy to check out this resource:

How often will we meet?

We see clients on a weekly, biweekly basis. Clients often have a specific time and day reserved for them, at a frequency that feels most supportive.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require 24 hours notice for cancellations or the full fee will be charged.
