Hello – thank you for this brave step of arriving here. My name is Eyerusalem and I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor here at Lotus. I support adults who may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, grieving, frustrated, stuck, or unsure how to move forward. Many of the people I work with are carrying the impact of painful life experiences, relationship wounds, oppressive systems, identity questions, cultural transitions, or a deep sense of not feeling fully at home in themselves. I am especially passionate about supporting people who have learned to survive by staying strong, pleasing others, disconnecting from themselves, or carrying more than they should have had to carry.
My hope is that therapy can be a place where you do not have to hold everything alone. Together, we can slow things down, gently tend to what’s hurting, and help you connect back to your innate capacity for healing and thriving.
My style is warm, relational, experiential, and collaborative. I draw from Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic approaches, and creative or metaphor-based exploration. In our work together, we may explore emotions, patterns, protective parts, body-based signals, values, and new ways of relating to yourself and others.
It would be an honour to come alongside you regardless of what may be bringing you to therapy. Thank you for coming to us, and I cannot wait to meet you.
