I am a Master’s level Registered Social Worker with the British Columbia College of Social Workers (BCCSW). I have more than 6+ years of front-line experience as a social worker in various settings spanning the world of disability and addiction case management, in-patient hospital social work, vocational counselling within the context of mental health and mental illness, and finally counselling therapy.
My experience in this field has provided me with a holistic, systems base lens through which I view my work. I bring a fundamental understanding of larger systems of oppression and privilege to my practice and focus on person-centered and trauma-informed therapies. I wholeheartedly function from a social justice, queer, and feminist informed lens and above all I value the therapeutic relationship as a key site for change.
My process is experiential based, and I strive to create space in which we can allow the therapeutic change to take place in the room. My toolbox includes therapies such as, Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
As a late blooming asexual and panromantic individual, I endeavor to welcome all who might be on their sexuality or gender journey and hope to create an open space for those who are non-monogamous or polyamorous as well. My background also includes an intergenerational experience of displacement and cross cultural immersion with a parent who fled their country of origin due to war and uprising.

I endeavor to work through the experiences of intergenerational trauma, childhood trauma in the form of neglectful or emotionally immature parental figures, shame, self-esteem issues, struggles with an internal sense of compassion, and religious trauma to name a few.
I look forward to working alongside any who feel a kinship with these qualities or desires to expand on their self work in these areas. Please feel free to contact me for a 15min consultation to see if we could be a good fit!
