As a Registered Clinical Counsellor with over 20 years of experience, I have had the honor of walking alongside individuals, couples, and families as they move through healing, growth, and meaningful change. I strive to create a compassionate, collaborative, and respectful space, where clients can reconnect with their inner resilience and capacities, and feel truly seen, heard and understood.

I take a holistic approach to counselling with a strong focus on the mind, body connection, and overall wellness. I specialize in Somatic therapy. supporting clients to understand how experiences can be held in the body and nervous system and how this awareness can support regulation, safety, and healing. I believe Embodied experiences in therapy can lead to meaning shifts, relief from symptoms and deeper healing and connection to self and others.

I also draw from a range of modalities, emotionally focused therapy, attachment-based therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, interpersonal therapy, lifespan integration, mindfulness-based approaches, narrative, expressive, and arts therapy.

In my work with couples, I use emotionally focused therapy to help partners identify attachment patterns, explore unmet needs, and nurture strong and secure emotional bonds. I also guide couples in healing from infidelity, rebuilding trust, and strengthening their relationships, and addressing any parenting challenges that may arise. I foster intimacy and connection between partners and support them in finding ways to navigate life’s ups and downs together.

My practice is also grounded in trauma-informed and anti-oppressive principles. As a woman of colour, I am deeply committed to supporting the healing and empowerment of racialized and marginalized communities and am a proud ally of the lgbtq2s+ community, providing affirming and inclusive care. I view culture and lived experiences as gifts and sources of wisdom and an essential part of the healing process.

I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma (including racialized and intergenerational trauma), family and relationship challenges, abuse, grief and loss, self-esteem concerns, and those seeking personal growth.

When I am not in the therapy room, I can be found with my partner of over 23 years or with my three children, ranging in age from teens to young adults. I cherish the time spent with family and friends. I also enjoy running, practicing yoga, and relaxing at home, unwinding on the couch with a good Netflix show.

I invite you to a complimentary 15-minute consultation to explore if working together would be a good next step for you.
