I believe that when we’re able to be our most authentic selves — congruent, connected, and fully present — something inside us settles. But for many of us, life teaches us early on that certain parts of ourselves are more acceptable than others. We learn, consciously or not, to protect ourselves by performing, hiding, pleasing, or pushing through. Over time, these strategies become familiar roads on the relational maps we carry.

I work relationally and experientially to help people explore those maps — to understand how they were shaped, how they’ve kept us safe, and how we might start building new ones with more choice and self-compassion. Much of my work is rooted in embodiment, somatic attachment, and inner child exploration. I pay close attention to what’s happening beneath the surface — not just in the content of what’s being said, but in what your body and nervous system might be trying to communicate. I believe that when we can meet those internal signals with gentleness, something powerful shifts.

Clients likely will experience me as authentic, present, and engaged. I’m not the clipboard quiet therapist, but rather you’ll feel me genuinely engaged in your story and your life as I think to receive care and experience change, you need someone real in that space. Sitting with people in their most honest, vulnerable moments — and building safety, care, and even joy together — is a beautiful privilege that I hold with deep value. I remember meeting the lead singer of my favorite band when I was 17. He told me, “You don’t choose your calling — it calls you. That’s why it’s called a calling.” Those words stuck with me. I know I’m doing what I love, because I continue to find such meaning and beauty in walking alongside people in their lives and struggles.

I work with people who are navigating stress, overwhelm, emotional shut-down, relationship challenges, ADHD, performance pressure, and the longing for meaning and purpose. I work with people from BIPOC backgrounds, those healing from spiritual or religious trauma, and those carrying the impact of systemic oppression. As someone who immigrated to Canada as a child and learned early on how to manage others’ perceptions of me, I know the emotional labor of performance — both internal and external —and the cost it can have on a person’s sense of self.

I also bring a deep connection to creativity and performance to my work. Having played sports and music at a high level, I understand the unique pressures faced by athletes, artists, and other high-performing individuals — whether you’re on a stage, a field, in the boardroom, or running your own business.

My approach is relational, experiential, and grounded in the body. I’m trained in AEDP, EFT for couples, and Existential Analysis, and I integrate inner child work, somatic attachment, and embodiment into much of what I do. I listen not just to your story, but to your nervous system, your emotions, and the unspoken things your body might be trying to say. I believe our defenses deserve compassion — they worked hard to keep us safe. Therapy is about helping those parts feel safe enough to soften, so you can live more freely and fully.

Outside the therapy room, you’ll usually find me playing drums, writing music, lifting weights, on a soccer field, or spending time with close friends. I’ve got a soft spot for early 2000s pop punk and anything that invites presence and play. Whether in life or in therapy, I care about showing up in a way that’s real.
